Alphabets and Ice Cream

To try and help cushion the trauma from earlier in the day we played an Alphabet game! I found this one on Kids Craft Weekly too (http://72.52.134.219/alphabet_issue.html)! It was really simple and Spencer really enjoyed it!

I wrote out each letter on construction paper and then laminated it! Then I got some small round stickers and put each letter of the alphabet on a sticker. During nap time I found toys or objects that started with each letter of the alphabet and hid them around the toy room!

When it was time to start Spencer went running into the room like it was an Easter egg hunt! It was really cute! It was neat to see which letters he knew and which ones we had to sing our song to find on the paper! Over all it was really fun and GREAT practise!
After a dinner of leftovers (YEA) we decided to go out for an ice cream! The kids were jumping off the walls as soon as we walked into the restaurant! (Maybe we should have taken the hint then!!!) We went to Iceberg, cause I really love their grasshopper shakes! We got the kids each a cone and just had a really fun time hanging out and goofing off! Oh and the ice cream was to DIE FOR! A great way to end a busyand intense day!
